Hey, I'm a first-year CS Cybersecurity student and I literally started college a week ago. I don't know much coding yet, but I really want to participate in HackQuest/SIH and learn along the way.

Is there any way for a first-year to get involved, maybe by joining/assisting a senior team or learning from them? Should I start looking for a team now, or is it better to wait until later? Any advice would be appreciated .Also I’m a girl, so if the team needs a female member for the SIH requirement, I’m happy to join and learn 😭🙏”
