As a foreigner, I keep seeing two extremes of Chinese clothing online either traditional hanfu or high-fashion avant-garde looks. But I'm more curious about what everyday people actually wear on the street, at work, or at the market. Do young people in places like Chengdu or Hangzhou dress differently from Beijing or Shanghai? Is hanfu actually common to see out and about, or is that mostly for photos and festivals? And what about prices can I buy decent, normal clothes cheaply at local markets, or are Western brands still the flex?.

As a foreigner, I really want to try Chinese street food, but I have no idea where to start. What does stuff like jianbing, chuan'r, or dumplings from a cart actually taste like are they greasy, spicy, sweet, or just totally different from restaurant versions? And what's the price like? Am I paying one dollar or five for a skewer? Are street food stalls generally good, or is it a gamble every time? How do I tell which stall to trust without getting sick? I don't need fancy I just want real, honest food. Anyone who's eaten from Chinese street stalls, what should I try first, and what should I avoid?

As a foreigner watching from afar, Chinese culture feels pretty unique. There’s strong family loyalty, huge emphasis on respect for elders, and all those traditional festivals and food habits. But at the same time, there’s this heavy pressure to follow rules, maintain harmony, and fit into the group. It’s very different from the more individual-focused way we do things in the West.

For Delhi physical batches

I'm an outstation student planning to join either LegalEdge or Law Prep Tutorial in Delhi for CLAT preparation. I wanted honest reviews about their physical classroom batches. Do they actually provide their own hostels or just help with nearby PGs? What’s the realistic monthly cost for a decent and safe PG (including food) near their Delhi centers? Are the offline batches good overall faculty, crowd, mocks, doubt sessions, and environment? Would you recommend them for someone moving to Delhi, or are there better options? Any recent experiences from 2025-2026 would be really helpful, especially regarding safety and value for money.

Whenever I read about China’s internet ecosystem, it feels like there’s a local version of almost everything:

• Google
• Amazon
• Uber
• WhatsApp
• TikTok (Douyin)
• PayPal, etc.

Is it actually true that people inside China mostly use completely different apps/services for everyday life?

Curious how integrated it really is and whether some of them are actually better than the global versions.

I want to give full-length mocks in a real physical test center environment (with OMR sheets, proper seating, invigilators, etc.) so I don’t get complacent or lazy studying at home. But I haven’t bought the regular batches or test series from Law Prep Tutorial or Legal Edge. Is it possible to just show up at their test centers for the scheduled full-length mocks without paying/enrollment?
