Namely, where the heck do I source it from???? I've googled my butt off and cant seem to find a good site or sites in which ti order photo etch for the Tamiya or Hasegawa lines.

Am I just using the wrong base models to start? I've found some for Academy models in 1/350 but that was a colossal (or felt like it) prices to find a verify that idk for before i spent the money.

Any input would be appreciated.
