I’m currently 6 months post-op, and looking back at photos from my first week feels so surreal. It’s almost like I'm looking at a stranger, or like it wasn’t actually
me who went through all of that.
My first three days in the hospital were a total blur. I have a high prescription (-9.00 diopters), but because I couldn't wear glasses (also had a nose job) and refused to wear contacts, I was essentially blind the whole time. Between the lack of vision and the intense pain (I was super unlucky), the entire experience feels incredibly disconnected from my reality now.
Did anyone else experience this kind of detachment from their early recovery? Our mind is truly wild.

Has anyone noticed a significant loss of volume in their cheeks following surgery? I'm 5 months post-op and thrilled with my results, but my face looks much leaner even though my weight has remained exactly the same throughout recovery.
