I just got a new gas grill after asking my landlord if he is okay with me having it in the balcony and also checking with the building rules. I live in Landsberg and there is a lot of old people in my neighbourhood. I live in 1OG and have 2 neighbours upstairs and one is next to my balcony.

Are they going to hate me? I lived in Berlin before and some friends had gas grills on their balconies but I never had a balcony before and Ive been living here for only 3 months.
Im quite excited about the grill and my landlord doesnt care as I said but also I dont want to be the asshole.

What should be the correct approach? Grill and see or let them know first?
