So I'm on 3ds max 2027, if that makes a difference, and i decided to use a grid helper object to define the area of my design (creating a custom booth for a company). But since it behaves like an object (you can select it and whatnot) i decided to freeze it. And it turns bright cyan the moment you freeze it.

I dug through menus, added it to different layers (and yes I did try to toggle "show frozen in gray") to no avail. I'm stumped on why something so useful has to dominate my workspace when frozen :/

Any guesses?
