Burn overs and entrapments are getting more common this year. My FF1 Training is soon and whatever tf is going on is terrifying the hell out of me so much that it's making me reconsider joining.

I'm training for Wildland firefighting. Believe me, I do want to do it and I am excited for it but I am terrified.

I've read a lot on granite, storm king and just now the 3 that were killed in the Snyder fire. It's kind of chipping at me like crazy and some moments I go from "yeah I want to do it" to "I'm terrified and I don't want this anymore." I've talked to people about it but no matter how much I do, I'm still scared shitless.
