SteinsGatari - A Monogatari Series x Steins;Gate Fanfiction
A Monogatari Series x Steins;Gate fanfiction i wrote (it's ongoing, will post chapter 2 as soon as it's done)
Warning: it contains suggestive stuff and mature themes
Is my fic doing okay?
Hi! I’m new to writing fanfiction and I recently started uploading my first one. I’m so proud of it and I was super nervous to post it. 9k and 5 chapters later, my stats are looking like this. Because I’m new to this I’m not sure if this is good or not, but it would put my mind at ease to know, even if it is underperforming. I included the summary so you can see the gist of what it’s about, if that helps you understand the marketability of it and therefore how well it should be doing for what it is. I would greatly appreciate any help I could receive! Thank you!
Self-promoting??
Okay, so it was mentioned to me that I should like, “advertised” my fics…don’t know what that means exactly so here’s my attempt.
- here’s the link to my Heated Rivalry Alpha Billionaire Boston Ilya with an Omega Recent College grad moves to Boston Shane.
Disclaimer: whatever you think will happen…probably won’t. Wherever you think the story is going…probably isn’t.
- *clears throat*
so hear me out…
This fic took my writing virginity & set me on this writing journey.
She still a bit rough around the edges but I’m editing everyday. the plot is a full 2 pages, no space, font size 11 doc from beginning to end.
This is my baby that I love so much but she’s not the most popular.
Here’s the link for my semi non-trad Omegaverse F1 fic with an Alpha Team Principal Ilya and an Omega McLaren Driver.
Disclaimer: this one really getting a mind of its own (pun intended if you read the fic🤭🤫🤣)

I'll drop my link in the comments
Looking for someone to give feedback on my Re:Zero Fanfiction.
I've been writing a Re fanfic called The Weight of Scars, and I'm looking for someone willing to read it sequentially from Chapter 1 onward and give me honest, critical feedback as they go.
AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/90298341
Current: 20 chapters / ~68k words
Started: ~19 July 2026
Status: Ongoing
The story takes place after Arc 7 and is a canon-divergence AU focused heavily on Subaru, trauma, relationships, survival, and hurt/comfort.
I'm particularly interested in criticism of:
- Subaru's characterization and whether his decisions actually make sense
- Whether his mentality and past experiences are reflected naturally in his behavior
- Whether emotional scenes actually land
- Pacing
- Dialogue
- Character interactions
- Plot clarity
- Worldbuilding
- Anything that feels boring, forced, confusing, or out of place
I specifically want someone who will challenge me. If you think I've written Subaru's behavior incorrectly, a scene doesn't work, an emotional moment feels forced, or I've made a decision that doesn't make sense, please tell me. I'd much rather receive harsh criticism than empty praise.
I'd prefer someone to start from Chapter 1 because a lot of the characterization and context builds gradually, and the early chapters are noticeably weaker than the later ones. I've already gone back and rewritten some of the earlier chapters as my writing has improved.
A bit about me: this is my first long-form writing project and my first time seriously writing fiction. As of Aug 18, I've only been writing for about 29 days, so I'm very inexperienced.
I also want to be transparent that I used AI to help edit some of the earlier chapters. The story, plot, scenes, characters, and ideas are mine. I write the chapters myself and have used AI primarily to clean up prose during editing. It did not generate the story or originate the scenes.
You don't need to be an experienced writer to critique it. If you're a big Re reader and can tell me what works, what doesn't, and why, that's already extremely valuable to me.
I know 68k words is a lot to ask someone to read, so there's absolutely no expectation that you commit to the whole thing immediately. If you want to try the first few chapters and decide afterward whether you want to continue, that's completely fine.
If you do decide to read it, please be as critical as you want. I genuinely want to improve.
What happened to the comment section? Please someone cue me in
Hi everyone!
I have a question for those who have been in fandom continuously for the last decade or two. I can be considered a fandom dinosaur myself, but I kind of fell out of fanfiction and only recently made a comeback
For the last couple of years, I wrote stories in a very small fandom. The feedback was positive, even if sparse compared to what I remember back in the 2000s, but I assumed the reason was just that the fandom was so niche
Recently, though, I wrote a story in a huge fandom. I’m getting hits, I’m getting kudos, and people are bookmarking the story. So I guess people like it. I have no way of knowing what exactly people like tho since barely anyone is commenting
I got one comment (and they liked two of my favorite moments, yay!), and I’m really appreciative of it, but like...
Is this just what it's like now? I remember people would come and quote the stuff they liked, or debate things when they disagreed with a characterization, and we would discuss different takes. And we would have comment threads while now it's a comment, my reply, and that's it. Honestly, it kinda feels like screaming into the void
Is this fandom-specific, or did I miss a massive paradigm shift?
My Fanfiction. Please Read
I've been writing a fanfiction for the past month and a half. It's a sequel called A Strange New Circus Member. If you want to make artwork or a comic, just do it. But if not, just please read and share it. I want to be included in stuff.

Help 🙏🙏🙏
Hi!! I'm not a regular Reddit user so I might not be doing this right but I've been searching for this specific KOTLC fanfic for YEARS and can't find it anywhere and I'm hoping someone else might know it? It was literally the first fanfic I ever read so it's really nostalgic and it's honestly so stupid but I just want to have it for old times sake, you know? Anyway, here's what I remember
I originally read it on some weird site that definitely wasn't legit and stole it from the og creator but it was also on wattpad. I'm not sure about ao3 or anything else
The cover picture was a Sokeefe fan art and it was a SoKeefe fic
There were somewhere in the 5-15 range of parts/chapters, whatever you would call them, and within them was the first short story and a second one.
The plot of the first one was something along the lines of a KOTLC group sleepover. They decide to play truth or dare and at some point Ro comes up with this huge eccentric plot to get Sophie and Keefe together, I don't remember if Keefe knew what she was plotting. Ro basically ends up daring Sophie to have this like, blind kissing competition. Something along the lines of her being blindfolded and having to kiss each of the boys (Keefe, Fitz, Tam, Dex) who are all assigned numbers to identify them because she doesn't get to know who is who until the end. Then after she kisses all four she has to rank them in order of best to worst kiss. So she kisses them all and I don't remember the exact order they went in but I do remember how each kiss was describe, Dex's was awkward and familiar, Fitz was a terrible kisser (shocker am I right? A sokeefe fic being a complete Fitz hater lol), Tam was like, a really good kisser and they kissed, like, way too long, but Keefe's kiss was like magical or someth like that. Anyway she ranks them and obviously Keefe wins and there is all the shock of omg Fitz actually sucks and drama and scandal but low key they all just go to bed, separated into girls and guys rooms, but Sophie and Keefe end up talking things out yada yada they all live happily ever after.
Honestly I don't really remember the second sub story, but it was incomplete and had Elwin, maybe christmas something? But that could be wrong.
Anyways sorry I know that isn't a ton to go off of and it's a really stupid plot overall but someone let me know if you know it! As embarrassed as I am to ask I really would like to read it one more time. Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this and maybe find it 🫶🏻🥹
What kink(s) fell under that umbrella for you guys?
chapter lenght
Here's the thing, this is my first fan fiction ever. So my writing skills aren't the best yet and i don't know how to write long chapters. I looked for answers and apperently you need around 3k words for one chapter? I don't know what to do since i can hardly get my 500 words for a chapter. Does anyone have any tips?
Rare Pair & Shipping Showcase
Some members have mentioned wanting this sub to talk more about romance and shipping, specifically with rare pairs. As this subreddit is meant to be a low-pressure space to share enthusiasm and writing support, we are trying out a weekly (or monthly, depending on popularity) Rare Pair/Shipping Showcase to show some love to those rare-pairs writers.
So…
Rare pair shippers, this thread is for you!
Drop your:
• rare ships
• underrated character pairings
• unpopular dynamics
• niche fanfics/WIPs
• favorite obscure works
• self-promo
• fic recommendations
…or any other shipping or romance-related content!
If you are sharing a story, feel free to include a link to that story and share your thoughts, opinions, ideas, and what makes you love your ship/story.
Let’s give some love to the rare pairs that keep us alive 🫶

My TBATF rewrite/fan ending
https://archiveofourown.org/works/90134746/chapters/239552591
(Reposting this because i accidentally deleted the post)
Hello! I’m a young writer and want to share my ending for TBATF (unfinished)
I DO NOT RESPECT THE CREATORS OF THE ENDING, OKAY?
I want you to support me in writing this ending any way you can! Thank you!!
How do you know when your ready to post a fic?
I've never written or posted fanfiction before, but I've been working on a long-form one for the past few months. My OG plan was to post once it was finished but that's a looong way from happening, and I sort of want to post chapter updates now. At the same time, I keep going back and tweaking / improving my old chapters and I'm nervous to finally let them go. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I tend to push back posting things (it took me ages just to post this!)
Any advice for knowing when your satisfied enough with your work to let it out into the world?
Help find this Fic
so I know this is a long shot but I’m trying to find this Teenwolf fanfic it’s a sort of old one to from what I remember werewolf’s are knows it’s a Derek/Stiles fic Derek runs a center for wolf’s or omegas or both I can’t remember Scott works there to as well as Boyd and Erica and the hales are alive. Stiles first meets Derek by I think rear ending him I also believe its Alpha omega I’m not 100% on that part though any help is appreciated
Hey I’m stuck any ideas?
So it’s based in Fairy tail. It’s about a girl who winds up dying and get sent into another world. You know normal I guess. But instead of instantly being reborn, she starts the story in the womb. I’m stuck at the part where she’s being born. Like she just came from a very dark warm and safe place and she’s gone decently used to that and suddenly bright lights. She’s cold. She’s wet and instantly she also hears so much noise and this woman screaming. I can’t find the right way to word it.
Do you ever make yourself genuinely uncomfortable/unsettled with your writing?
I've just written a series of vignettes about a sort of addiction in a way, where a character has shadow powers and gets addicted to the feeling of being in between places in the shadows, and then the shadows swallow him, and he becomes a part of them. Then, *blech* he starts reaching out to his boyfriend to try to draw him in too. . .
I feel so uncomfortable rn lmao.
I'M THE ONE WHO WROTE THIS
anyway, do y'all ever do this to yourselves?
