Moral of the story, could Thug have had an even better come back? Yes. But don’t let social media propaganda brainwash you!

Weeks before Thug went to jail he lost his 2 friends Big & Mack. While in jail he lost his baby mother, his sister & Lil Keed. Was on trial for 2+ years, THE LONGEST trial in Georgia history! Where he watched the DA blame him for a lot of things he had nothing to do with (if you actually watched the trial u would know, that’s y half the country was rooting for him) His “friends” took the stand and testified against him & his lyrics were dissected, scrutinized & misinterpreted. While in jail his son made “suicidal posts” due to the loss of his mother! Then he gets out & an interrogation video that was already constituted as “not snitching” gets manipulated as “snitching” (which may have been warranted considering his energy towards Gunna, but he was clearly in pain and hopped on the internet before properly healing) then his jail calls get leaked (only the ones that would turn his friends against him, none of the good ones). Then his album drops with emotional songs like “Blaming Jesus”, “ Sad Spider” “Catch Me I’m Falling” etc. (sometimes I can’t listen to these songs cause they are so raw if you’re in a sad mood you’re liable to cry). I get it y’all don’t think it’s his best body of work but to have ppl dismiss these emotional & raw tracks is sad! Ppl let the media dictate who Thug is! The media never mentions how he came home and changed artists lives! (1300 Saint, Tezzus, Diamond* etc) Y’all call him fat, retarded …but to me he looks exactly what depression looks like! Tell me if u went through all of this would u still be standing?? All while on long term probation where your every move is being scrutinized! If he’s your fav artist don’t be quick to write him off like the rest of the media is. have some patience. grace. Understanding. Compassion. And PRAY for the best for him!

Thug could’ve been a much bigger artist if he’d put more time & energy into himself. Looking at the history he’s always been more focused on shining his spotlight on others or putting others on! Just to name a few… he embraced YB, UZI, GUNNA, LIL BABY, LIL KEED and he’s even doing this with the new guys 1300 SAINT, TEZZUS, DIAMOND, SK8STAR etc… look at his page, sometimes I go on his page and I’m like is this even his page lol. He even does this on his albums lol, adding ppl on his albums that could’ve been left off. No other artist is doing this. he’s literally dedicated his career to shining his spotlight onto others whether they are signed to him or not… he’s credited as a mixing engineer on lil baby’s “WHAM” album (straight out of jail) lmao. And I know he’s done so much more behind the scenes that we don’t know about. I think he knows this because he’s alluded to this after the whole gunna situation but he’s back to doing the same thing with the new guys. This why it hurts to see ppl discrediting his artistry cause I know he could’ve been much bigger but he’s way too selfless.
