Palermo stays

Hi everyone!

My two friends and I will be visiting Palermo during the last week of July. We’re planning to rent a car and spend most of our time exploring different beaches around the area.
We’re currently looking for accommodation, but we’re finding that many hotels and Airbnbs are either quite expensive or don’t seem that nice for the price.

Does anyone have any recommendations for hotels, Airbnbs, or specific areas to stay in that offer good value? We’d be happy to stay outside the city center if it’s convenient for driving and beach trips.

Budget-Friendly Swim and chill night-out!

Hi everyone!

We’re 3 friends planning a 7-day beach trip to Sicily. Our main goal is visiting as many beautiful beaches as possible, but we also want somewhere lively in the evenings.
We’re considering staying in Palermo for the whole week and renting a car for only 2–3 days to visit places like Scopello, San Vito Lo Capo, and other beaches further away, while using public transport for places like Mondello and Cefalù.
Has anyone done something similar? Did you find Palermo a good base, or did you regret not staying somewhere else? Also, is it easier (and cheaper) to rent a car in Palermo city or directly from the airport, and are there any rental companies you’d personally recommend or avoid?
I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have done a similar trip. Thanks!

Summer vacation in Kaş

Hi everyone!
We are three young women planning a summer vacation in Kaş, Turkey. We’ve heard it is beautiful, but we are not sure how easy it is to get there and move around.
Which airport is the best/nearest one to fly into — Dalaman or Antalya? From the airport, what is the easiest way to reach Kaş?
Also, would you recommend renting a car, or is public transport/taxis enough for visiting beaches, beach clubs, and nearby places? We are interested in nice beaches, boat trips, cozy nightlife, and a safe but lively summer atmosphere.
Do you think Kaş is worth visiting for a girls’ summer trip, or would another place in Turkey be better?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Bratislava airport to Graz?

Hi everyone!
I’m flying into Bratislava Airport and need to get to Graz the same day. What’s the easiest and cheapest way to travel there?
I’m happy to use buses, trains, or a combination of both. If you’ve done this trip before, I’d really appreciate any advice on the best route, how long it takes, and whether I should book tickets in advance or just buy them on the day.
Thanks!
