Missed jury duty scan call beware

Watch out out there folks. I just got a call repeatedly from a very southern sounding gentleman who claimed to be from the Buncombe County sheriffs office asking about why I missed my jury duty summons and making it seem very urgent that I do whatever he was gonna tell me to do next. I did not wait for the rest of the scam pitch, told him to send me whatever you needed to send me via certified mail and hung up.

Edit: I reported this to the buncombe county sheriffs office. Fuck scammers

30 deep line for lobster in candler at Scratch Ankle Filling station. So good

At Scratch Ankle Filling Station on smoky park and just had amazing lobster from today’s food truck, Cousins Maine Lobster. Big splurge, but so so good. Best food I’ve ever had in Candler. Scratch ankle is such a great addition to the otherwise lackluster bar and food scene in candler. Good live music too. Cheers, y’all

Edit: they just ran out of lobster and were super apologetic. Said they said will come loaded up next time. Bar and tunes are still cool

Landing and stairs were so poorly constructed. What do I absolutely have to fix before staining?

The previous owner of my house did some seriously sketchy DIY work including our little back landing and stairs. Stair stringers have like 4 screws total in them which scares me. See pics. Need to clean it up and stain it for the first time. Thoughts on what do I absolutely have to fix? And general snarky comments bagging on the builder. Would be appreciated!

Genius riding jet ski backwards on French Broad river in RAD

I am watching a truly brilliant individual riding a jet ski backwards in loops on the French Broad River in front of Cotton Mill studios and New Belgium. Had some pretty good plumber butt action going on while doing so.

Edit: ok, so maybe my description was a bit harsh since he is wearing PPE and not hurting anybody.
