is the movie liked by Brazilians themselves?

i was thinking, a lot of cartoons, Disney movies, etc. in cinema history will always depict one country or another as the way the director interprets it/wants it to be like according to the plot (f.ex. coco, the breadwinner, encanto, luca, raya)

i remember with luca, a lot of my Italian friends thought it was very inaccurate and exaggerated the Italian culture in the film and didn’t like it at all, is it the same case with Rio? do Brazilians like the movie or think it is too exaggerated as well?

i just have this childish attitude towards movies like these where it kind of gives me motivation to travel the world and see the places depicted, despite knowing that it could be dangerous/different. but is it valid to say that every country had their own good and bad sides?

my Brazilian boyfriend really liked it he said and grew up with it, but i was curious about others too :-)
