there have been ppl going around the campus asking students if they want free smiskis or yochi voucher. IT IS A SCAM. they will get you to sign up for a circles life plan (which is a fucking pain to cancel) and get hostile and upset when u start asking more questions about the plan.

these people are leveraging off the fact that we are teenagers who js want free cute things. they know we won’t think twice about signing up if it’s for a free smiski but trust me, it’s not free. in a month, they’ll start charging your account and it’s a hassle to cancel. just google circles life scam and you’ll see the amount of people complaining about it.

i heard that they’re also going ard NTU, NUS, and ngee ann so ill be cross posting this to sgexams too.

at the start of the year, i stumbled across this volunteering opportunity that i thought would be really meaningful to contribute to. in the infographic, they advertised a total of 10 sessions on weekends across the whole duration of the program.

i signed up and during the interview process, i was given a calendar of the dates and they all seemed to fall on a saturday so i had no issue. what i didn’t do was count how many session there actually were. as im typing this post, i counted the sessions and there’s a grand total of 15. it’s okay, no big deal. they still fall on saturdays and im always free on saturdays so i dont mind.

what i do mind is, over the past 2 months of this programme going on, there have been FOUR sessions that have been pulled out of their asses and each of these sessions are two hours long. not just that, it’s on weekday nights where i’m mostly occupied with work/school/cca and i have to carve out my rest time to attend these fuckass sessions. they even tried to ask us to meet irl until 10pm like give me a fucking break.

i wasn’t informed of these random sessions at all during the interview process and i’m honestly so fucking done with this organisation. i’m writing this post right now because they just sent out another notice that we have to meet AGAIN throughout this week. FOURTH TIME. and it may be irl until 10pm AGAIN.

i don’t have the energy to entertain these people anymore. STOP PULLING NEW, LAST MINUTE MEETINGS OUT OF YOUR ASSES.
