Hi everyone,
I know there are already plenty of Tenerife restaurant posts on here, so apologies for adding another one! I’ve had a look through previous recommendations, but many of them seem to focus on seafood restaurants.

I’m taking my partner to Tenerife in July for his 30th birthday, and we’re staying in the south of the island. We’ll have a car, so we’re happy to travel, although somewhere around Costa Adeje would be ideal so we can both enjoy a few drinks without worrying about a long drive back.

My partner isn’t a big seafood fan but absolutely loves good meat dishes. I’m looking for somewhere romantic, with beautiful ocean views or a stunning setting, and great food to make the evening feel special.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hi everyone,

I applied for a switch from Revolut to Barclays yesterday, which is scheduled to complete on 22 June.

Unfortunately, I forgot to set up the required direct debits on my Revolut account before requesting the switch. As soon as I realised, I set up two direct debits through Scrimpr yesterday afternoon. I’ve received the set up confirmation emails for both, but they still aren’t showing in my Revolut account.

Revolut has now sent me a notification in the app asking me to approve or decline the switch request. It says I have a couple of days to respond, after which it will be automatically accepted.

Given that the switch isn’t due to complete until 22 June, do you think I’ll be okay if the direct debits haven’t appeared on Revolut before the switch request is accepted? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Hi all — first time posting here (new to beermoneyuk), so apologies if this is a basic question. 🙋‍♂️

I'm currently waiting for Barclays to verify my address and send me a code in the post before I can apply for their switch offer.
In the meantime, would it be okay to apply for the Amazon Barclaycard (mainly interested in the £50 Amazon voucher bonus), or could that affect my eligibility for the switch offer later on?
