I heard about this backplate, read about it, saw a lot of videos about the temp improvements. Finally got mine yesterday and installed it.

I play a lot of Division 2, 720p with mid settings mostly, and temps could rise up to 96°C. Now, I haven't really had the time to play like +2 hours, but so far I get like 80°C.

Note, I use a hard case that I cut through to allow more in air flow since the grills on this back plate are bigger than the original.

The installation process was pretty much plug and play, I didn't have to adapt anything or use any of their accessories.

Has anyone else switched to this backplate? Any differences you noticed? Improvements or maybe nothing ?

I was wondering if any of you play on a big 4k screen, what do you use and how do you set your things up?

I just bought a 100W Ugreen charger, a JSAUX 5-1 multifunction adapter, next up is a 4K120Hz cable.

I have 6Gb of ram allocated, 30W, 1080p output, and there seems to be some sort of vertical sync issue (though it is ON in game settings). The game's fluid, haven't checked the FPS rate but I have it limited to 60 and the game runs pretty smoothly. It's just that vertical sync issue that I find annoying, other than that I'm satisfied with the result.

On the ally I run it at 720p and It's a pure joy.
