I'm looking through the bus routes and getting a little confused, so I likely missed something. The plan is to head to Klaksvik from Torshavn on Saturday morning, looks like the earliest bus is 9:20. On the way back, I'd like to stop in Runavik for the night and take bus 450 back to Torshavn.

Problem is, I can't figure out the bus between Klaksvik and Runavik on Saturday late afternoon/early evening. Or would it be easier to return to Torshavn and do Runavik from there? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm just getting started and testing things out, so doing the free platforms. I tried Zencastr a while ago and it worked fine. Now it says it doesn't work with Firefox. I saw someone recommend Waveroom, so I signed up. Immediately, it tells me it only works with Chrome.

I don't need a lot of features. I just want audio recordings for two remote people. What does work with Firefox? Or across various browsers? I'm interviewing people remotely, so I need something that works for pretty much everyone.

For five days, would it be better to just stay in Tórshavn and take day trips elsewhere or spend a night or two in another town (trip is in late November)? I already know to expect chilly, rainy weather, but that won't stop me from some hiking, unless it's heavy rain. I'm likely just going to rely on buses and ferries, but may rent a car for a day.

Also, any suggestions for a restaurant to celebrate my birthday? I like to treat myself to a nice dinner when traveling.
