You can't tell me god isn't real. I was 18, smoking weed every day, skipping school, failing all my classes and putting on tons of weight.. I spent a lot of my teenage years at home, looking after my mom who was terminally ill. So my social life was non existent and I had virtually nothing going for myself. My mom finally submitted to her battle with cancer just ten days before Christmas.

What changed in my life after that? I had to move in with my dad and change schools with only one semester left of senior year. The school I went to required less credits and I had JUST enough to graduate on time. From there I found a Barber school local to my dad's house where my career began. I've since quit smoking weed, gotten into the best shape of my life and have become self employed.

My mom gave up her life so that I could live mine. The time frame in which she passed away set a domino effect of opportunities in my direction that were free for the taking. I owe everything I've ever accomplished to her. My mom was very religious and I was not. At this point in my life I truly believe that she asked God to help me become a person she would be proud of. Even if she wasn't here to see it.

I now sleep with a rosary and catholic bible beside my bed. I go to church nearly every Sunday and I've made God a large priority in my life. I had so many amazing things happen to me that I never felt like I deserved. Life feels better now that I give credit to the being that not only sent his son to die for my sins, but also provided me a life I'll never deserve. A lot of the earlier years of my 20s were filled with flashy cars, jewelry and vacations. I've now made it a priority to be more selfless and help people in any charitable way that I can. Rather that be monitary or with my time.

Looking to hear from Barbers who do housecalls at a premium price.

I've been a barber for a decade and have an extremely large book of business. I have a private studio and charge $50 for haircuts.

I've been wanting to break into the market of these Instagram Barbers, while I'm sure a lot of their prices are exaggerated.. Soemone is out here cutting wealthy people in their homes / offices. The kind of people who have more money than freetime.

How does one tap into this market? While I am reletively expensive I still just cut working class guys. Sure I've got some more well off customers but nobody's pulling up in lambos. I've done the math and for mobile haircuts to be worth my time I'd need to make at least $200 a visit. There's absolutely people who'd be willing to pay that, but I've never done a housecall unless it was a wedding party or some large event.
