Kind of broadening on the subject of someone's earlier post about headphones. How do you usually listen to ambient music, is it through earbuds, headphones, hifi speakers etc?

I am going to be working in North Africa for a couple of years or more and my Irish Setter will be going with me from the UK.

For those living in hot countries I wondered how their setters cope with the hot ground/sand on the beach and for those in snakey/scorpion places have you had any problems with that given their obsessive sniffing and curiosity.

Anyone else experience inconsistent response to the Ambient 0 keys? Sometimes it's as if they are velocity sensitive with unexpectedly loud sounds.
