Dentists that can do a root canal and accept excellus BCBS dental blue?

My general dentist does not do root canals so they referred me to an endodontist. The endodontist does not accept my insurance and they want $2200 (not including the cost of the crown) to do the root canal.

I can’t afford to not use my insurance. I have $1200 in coverage left on my dental insurance for the year so the insurance will be a big help. Willing to travel up to an hour. Or do you know of any dental offices that will do in-house dental plans? Any suggestions will help!

Pain above fillings

I went to the dentist two days ago for some dental pain in a couple of fillings done on tooth#11 and tooth#14 a few weeks ago. They took x-rays and said everything looked normal (no infection, no gum swelling, no abscess or bone loss, etc.). He thought the filling might have been too high so he drilled them down.

Three days later the pain is still here but the pain has spread to my face. It’s the area next to my nose right above tooth#11 it hurts (not the tooth, just the space above) and tooth#14 hurts to bite down (not temperature sensitive) and throbs all day/night.

Could it be an infection that the dentist missed or an issue with the root? I called them and they can’t get me in for another week.
