Beware of MintMed's 4-Month Tirzepatide Offer — Check Your Vials
EDIT: Given the BUD is 11/26/26 on all 3 vials, it's possible they sent me a 2 month supply (and as a side note: the BUD is only 7 weeks from today, so even that doesn't make sense as week 8 would be expired). The service team made it sound like I was actually sent a 4 month supply, but I will update this post if/when they confirm. If I was truly only sent a 2 month supply, it actually makes this a steal as it'd be 6 months worth of Tirz (albeit 2 of the 6 bottles past the BUD) for $405.
Posting this as a heads-up for anyone considering MintMed’s 4-month prepaid compounded tirzepatide offer.
I paid $420 ($105/month) for the 4-month option, which advertises “all doses included.” I’m prescribed 15 mg/week.
I received 3 vials from White Label Pharmacy (NOVA). All three are labeled:
Tirzepatide/Glycine 20 mg/5 mg per mL — 3 mL vial
Here’s the problem:
- Each vial has 60 mg of tirzepatide (20 mg/mL × 3 mL)
- At 15 mg/week, that's exactly 4 doses per vial
- 3 vials = 180 mg = 12 weeks
- A 4-month/16-week supply at 15 mg/week requires 240 mg
- That means I appear to be short an entire 60 mg vial
What makes it even stranger is that my pharmacy label says:
“Inject 75 units (15 mg) once weekly × 8 weeks.”
But 75 units = 0.75 mL. A 3 mL vial only contains four 0.75 mL injections. For that vial to actually last 8 weeks at 15 mg/week, it would need 120 mg / 6 mL, not 60 mg / 3 mL.
I contacted MintMed support and was told:
“Your vial 3 should last for 2 months.”
I sent them a photo showing that all three vials appear to be the same 3 mL, 20 mg/mL product.
I’m waiting for them to correct this and send the missing medication, but wanted to post this so anyone ordering the 4-month deal — especially at the 15 mg dose — checks the concentration, vial volume, and total milligrams they actually receive.
I’ll update the post if MintMed resolves it.
