After year of being absent in the mtg ethosphere I have decided to branch out and enjoy some video game entertainment in the form of Star Wars knights of the Old Republic. Too my horrid surprise I seem to have to purchase a deck of cards from some frail old man going under the guise “Garouk” pronounced entirely the same, and he’s changed his appearance to that of some frail old man to throw off the trail. What could have caused a once great planeswalker to seek refuse in such a sad planet as Taris reducing himself to just selling starter decks for a game with no more complexity than blackjack in order to fuel his booze habits? Does he still think of Liliana? I found this entire experience rather strange however also auspicious. I hope to see garruk return to his original form in the mtg universe some day.
