Can someone please confirm for me whether or not the internet install people have keys to the coaxial locker in the front closet of apartments?
I’m going in frigging circles trying to get an unequivocal yes or no on whether or not the internet install people will actually have the little barrel key to open the coax locker. The fibre dudes definitely had one and used it but for the life of me, I cannot get a Telus support agent to say, “yes, they will have that key”.
They’re sending another installer to re-do my lousy install from last week. (Their words, not mine!) and I’m concerned they’re not going to be able to deploy the 2.5GnE MoCA gear.
The text messages say I have to give them access to utilities room and be present for the appointment.
Building manager says he’s never had to give access since all the Telus, Rogers (Shaw) and Novus folks all have their own set of site keys.
I’m in the Tri-Cities and would definitely appreciate any info, suggestions or feedback on this.
