My tank is ready to go - how should I stock it?

I sent this 10 gallon long 2 months ago and I had the intention of stocking it with 3 pea puffers. Upon further research, I don't want to do pea puffers if I can't do a proper shoal in 20 gallon+. But this baby is ready to go and I'm stumped on how to stock it now. Ideas?

Flesh looks like soft Brian Moser

The haircut could be doing the heavy lifting but I see it every time she comes up.

A few weeks ago, I went to Petco for substrate and found this stunner in a shrimp tank. His name is Marvin 💙

Poe just turned a year old. I'd never seen a koi patterned betta before him.
