should i still apply for med

i just got my isat results back and i’m absolutely cooked (overall 174). tbh it’s my fault for not taking it in 2025 resulting in me only having around 10 days of preparation
i have met the minimum requirements but i’ve seen ppl saying that 177 is the lowest score for an offer on reddit, so should i save my money and not apply for monash med or still give it a try?

hi, i’m a secondary student from hk doing the hkdse (predicted: best 5 27) i’m interested in studying med in australia as i do plan to work and settle down here. my top 2 choices for med at the moment are monash and unsw

i’m doing the isat soon and i’m aiming for an overall score of 175-180. i completed the practice papers provided by acer and only scored ~31/45 on my first try (quite low, i believe). i’m currently using gemini to help analyze the questions i got wrong and while it’s quite helpful, i’m not sure if only using AI is enough to help me do well

  1. are there any tips and ways for improvement? 2. is 175 enough to secure me an interview/offer for med?

unsw requires a score of at least 27 for my best 5 subjects. after finishing my exams, i believe my final score would lie between a range of 25-30. is it possible for me to still get into med if i just met the minimum requirements?

any other advice would be appreciated! thank you!!
