Is there any way to stop them separating like this?

I purchased the most beautiful set of synthetic extensions and really love them. The only thing that bothers me is that they separate into strands! They came pre-waved and no matter how much I brush them, they end up twisting back again! (The pictures are literally 5 minutes after I brushed them). Is there any way I can stop this? I’ve tried brushing, washing, and combing them, but I’m afraid my last resort will be to straighten them and lose the wave. I really love the hair texture but the little twists remind me of dreadlocks and kinda feel clunky!

Any advice appreciated! :)

How can I make them look better? I

I have a synthetic halo which matches my natural hair colour perfectly, but something still feels off about them. Looking for a bit of advice.

  1. My natural hair is currently at bob length, which makes blending them pretty hard. In the 3rd pic you can see the annoying little bits of natural hair that stick out constantly - is there anything I can do to stop this? I’ve tried pinning those sections up but it makes the extensions look sparse around my neck. I have a few extra clip-ons I was thinking of adding to my temple areas - would adding more hair help blend everything?

  2. How do I stop it from tangling and becoming one big lump of hair?? In pics 2 and 4 you can see how clumpy they get. I’ve tried curling, straightening & repeatedly brushing them, but they tangle so quickly!

Thank you :) so grateful for this sub!

I recently bought the most beautiful clip-in synthetic extensions and have been wearing them around the house every day. But when it comes to actually going outside, I lose my confidence and take them out. I’m worried they look too fake, and that people will comment on them. I have friends who wear extensions and they manage to make them look so flawless and effortless, but I feel like mine might look too “dress-up”?

My real hair is shoulder length. Do you guys have any tips for how to feel more confident wearing them outdoors?
