We're having a fairly large gathering of family meet us for my mom's birthday (20+ people) and were thinking of heading to the Phoodery, but I wasn't aware of all the controversy until doing a bit of reading to see how dog friendly it is. Looks like a lot of news that reflected poorly on its management is over a year old now, and that it's been under new management for 8 months (with a few new tenants).

Problem solved? Or should we boycott this place?

I really miss Zachary's from Oakland in particular.

And if so, which one isn't pestilential? I'm looking for something that can do a passable Mission style burrito. I don't want to go to Chipotle in shameful resignation.
