Note that we were facing the sun in a good majority of these so lighting was not ideal but made it work

Still can’t believe that in my first year of doing sports photography and baseball being my first full season, I was fortunate enough to be shooting on the very last day of the season. 🙏🏼

I got quite a few people worked up last night and I’m sorry. I truly am thankful for the feedback and I understand that some of my editing is not for everyone.

I promise I’m not actually a tool (for the most part)

This first pic is my favorite pic I have ever taken in my life. I tried getting this picture all season and finally got it in the regional championship game. Idk if I’m just partial because it’s mine but aside from there not being a flag visible, which was out of my control, theres no aspect of this that isn’t perfect. I want to print it on a giant canvas

The rest are some of my favorite non-effect edits from the season.

Also to clear it up, I do get paid for this and at this level, the effect-style edits go crazy. I generally will also post the non-effect added pic with the set so they have both.

I am credentialed for the IHSA state tournament for those calling me a hobbyist and also our local minor league team so I realize that the effect style has a time and place.

Finally this is my first season in sports but I have been a professional photographer for quite some time so I’m not a novice per se but I know that there’s a lot I can improve on in sports and I truly truly truly appreciate ANY feedback good or bad and I promise to not be a dick if the feedback is negative 🤣
