Still fairly new to photography and first time shooting a race. How did I do?

This is my second time photographing motorsport, and my first time with a more serious camera. My biggest issues right now seem to be consistency with panning and focus, especially because on my camera's 2-inch screen, everything seems clear... It doesn't help that my camera's autofocus isn't great either. I've also struggled a bit with framing, it's been really tricky to get the car into a certain part of the picture. I'm thinking this has to do with panning. Any advice would be appreciated. These pictures are from Petit Le Mans.

Took these last night. Favorite spot so far. Love how these cars look under city lights.
