I don’t understand how all the governments and organizations are being super chill about this. There is a contradiction in what they are saying, if I’m not wrong. We’ve known that the virus has existed for a long time and that it doesn’t have human-to-human transmission. WHO warns people to stay away from rats and their droppings as if MV Hondius doesn’t exist and people there weren’t diagnosed with Andes.
They let people who tested negative in blood tests leave the ship, even though we know it has an incubation period of 8 weeks. A Turkish influencer, Ruhi Çenet, was also on the ship, and he got off after testing negative. However, does this mean they won’t test positive after 2–3 more weeks? This guy attended to a public wedding in Turkey. They’re allowing people from the ship to take flights, and now we know it has already been transmitted to another passenger. I wasn’t taking this seriously until I saw the weird way they are handling this virus.
I don’t wanna trip anybody out, but none of this is giving really good vibes, and strangely, their explanations are too similar to the early days of COVID-19. I really hope we are not on the edge of something irreversible. Stay safe, everyone.
