I just really feel like most of the pictures speak for themselves.

Try as I might to find it, the Dollywood pamphlet has no price posted for tickets that first season. I do know it was cheap if we were able to afford them (we did), ‘cause we were poor-poor! Did anyone else visit it when it was Silver Dollar City?

Do check out the ski prices, though. Can you even wrap your brain around it compared to Anakeesta now? I’ve officially become old, I guess. Anyway, enjoy!

15 years ago today, these six Pathfinders lost their lives on a mountainside in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan. Please remember them with me.

It doesn’t feel like it’s been that long.

Corneal abrasion from 2 weeks ago, and now I have weird lines going down skin below eye.

F46, 140 lbs, diagnosis of corneal abrasion about 2 weeks ago, prescribed eye drops with Tobramycin and Dexamerhasone for 5 days, but when it didn’t improve, my optometrist said I could use it for 2 more days. Still didn’t improve.

I have an 8am appt with him Wednesday, but these lines are concerning. So my question is, does this look normal for a scratched eye? Am I overthinking these lines moving downward from my eye? Thank you.

Billy is a free spider now

I spent my entire first 35 years with severe arachnophobia. When I had my daughter, I was determined not to show fear over something that should be respected but not feared. So I’ve mostly overcome my phobia.

Today she and I did a catch and release for Billy, this beautiful (daring?) jumper. We were both a little scared, but it was a team effort. Thank you so much to this community for helping us both keep unnecessary fears (mostly) at bay!
