What is the best rep dress watch out there? Aside from the Calatrava.

If there aren't any good ones, are there any good reps with decent leather straps? So, like a pilot watch, etc.

What puts me off getting a rep dress watch, or any rep with a leather strap, is the strap quality and the hassle of finding a decent strap for it.

I got a Longines, and the strap was terrible. Now, to be fair, I haven't felt the genuine version, so it could be terrible too.

Recently I got a Sub and Pepsi from Leo. Great service. Watches were perfect. No need to red-light either. Got QC photos to me quickly and got the watches to me with no fuss. I recommend using Leo.

Hi, recently I bought a Submariner 126610LN VSF VS3235. After it is fully wound, it loses 10 seconds in 12 hours. I reckon it will lose 20 seconds within 24 hours. I accept that it will not keep time like a genuine Rolex, but 20 seconds is too much for a watch I want to wear daily. I can deal with 5-10 seconds a day.

The only decent watch repair person in my area will not repair a fake, so I am left with the prospect of sending it to someone. Can someone recommend a watch repair person in the UK to whom I can send the watch?

I am considering getting a rep Day-Date in yellow gold. Which factory does the best yellow gold?

I ask because I see some come through for QC, and a lot of people complain about the colour of the YG.

If they are all bad and it is worth getting it plated, what is the process for getting it plated? I am thinking about going through Steve. Can he arrange for plating before I get it?

Also, is it worth getting the weight gain ones? I recently got a weight gain Cookie Monster, and while it was heavier than an ordinary rep sub, it was nowhere near as heavy as the CM should be.
