Anyone else getting a little concerned that the “ships” of industries laying off people in mass are starting to arrive on the shores of Sales Engineering island? I’m seeing a LOT of posts about people leaving SWE among other industries to join Sales Engineering, and as much as I love to sing kumbaya as the next person, not feeling too great about the long term effect of this.
I know we’ve had many chats this week about how bad renegades can be, and I definitely agree that there should be a more controlled way to handle them (DoLab I believe in you to find a way to keep them around while also giving the festival goers much needed rest)... However, WITH THAT SAID, I must speak of a renegade at LIB last weekend that was so fire, so dirty, so theatrically buffoonish that it left me speechless until now… there was a clown-themed renegade at Group campsite 27 played by a rising UKG DJ by the name of Neumonic who’s been on the stacks lineup before. It was without a doubt the nastiest UKG I heard all weekend (and I saw mph, oppidan, and conducta). That renegade was everything I needed at that moment, and I know other people were probably unhappy it went down bc the sound was absolutely banging (there was a guy in a lost lands shirt that came over and looked like he was about to throw hands over it). If you were there you know how fire it was and if you see this clown crew or neumonic, well done. Renegades should live on, LIB should find a way to make them live on, and the 2026 Clown Renegade Ft. Neumonic will live on in my heart forever. ♾️🤡
