Custom dust jackets for some of my first editions

Why: The 'IT' and 'Misery' first edition covers are my favorite, I love the simple black/red/gray combo on them, and the fact they look like they could be from a set (both published by Viking very close to each other). I thought it'd be cool to have a few of my other favorite books match that.

How: Using a combination of scans I could get on my everyday printer and high-res* images of scans found online, I used Photoshop to edit all four. I was trying to get 'The Shining' design to work with the black and white and I found this "dots" thing I just thought was neat. I made sure to measure the original covers to get the inch/pixel dimensions (300ppi) exactly right for printing. I tried to keep as close to the first editions designs and text placement as possible (for the most part), but there are a few tiny differences for personal taste. Like the "...novel by..." text on 'The Stand' and 'The Shining', and other little details I thought wouldn't be missed since these are custom after all.

Colors: YES, I am very annoyed that the colors compared to the 'IT' and 'Misery' (second image) aren't exactly the same...... The paper from the service I chose probably wasn't correct, and the colors were not fined tuned perfectly in Ps by me, as I was mostly guessing of a single scan I found. I will most likely be tweaking the colors some more and retrying with a better paper hopefully. Also doing the 'Firestarter', 'The Dead Zone' and 'Cujo' editions I recently got.

^(I am of course NOT claiming the original artwork of these covers as my own or in any way attempting to sell or link to these or distribute them. This was only a modification for my own purposes.)
