Another team put Jeanty on the trade block, thought about sending Achane + something for him. I know he’s younger and probably a little more valuable, but just didn’t want to overreact to week 1. I know Achane can rack up catches if they let him. But also Jeanty may be better long term on an offense trending up vs. Achane on one trending down.
EDIT: Or Cook. I have Cook and Achane but figured Cook is better to contend this year
An employee recently left her position in a slightly different area than me, but still in the overall scope of my job, and I was asked to quickly learn everything from her during her two weeks, since she was the only one with the knowledge of her job specifics.
When the position became open, I interviewed since it was a slight promotion and interesting to me, and I already knew most of the info regarding it. A couple passed and it was given to someone else, even after I handled all of its responsibilities on top of my own as well. Now I am being asked to train this other employee from the ground up in this position.
I was never given any compensation for this extra work, or any expected training. Should I ask for any before agreeing to train? Any advice on how to go about this situation?
