How much do you typically feed per day?

My boys are chonky and pushing ~40 lbs. I’m curious how much other Shiba owners typically feed their adult / senior babes per day? Also open to any dry food suggestions that have worked for your Shibas. Low fat kibbles?

Searching for a WSAVA compliant kibble with high complex carbs, moderate protein & low in fat - (12% fat or less)

From what I’m seeing, Hills, Purina, Royal Canin, IAMS are the top recommended brands for their extensive research and clinical trials.

Overall, which kibble does your dog favor? (Flavor, palatability, normal stools)

Do you add Omegas to balance out Omega 3 / Omega 6 ratio?

Any tips to adding fiber into diet?
Prebiotics / probiotics necessary or beneficial in their food?

*I am browsing through the subs wiki and finding a lot of helpful information. Slowly but surely. I wanted to get a post out here to hear others opinions/experience.

*I have spoken to my vet and they do not recommend much nutrition wise, I can ask again and see about a referral to a nutritionist if necessary

There is of course many opinions, such as favoring WSAVA or not. I’m open to hearing all opinions.
I joined a Canine Diabetes Support and information group on FB that has a list of dry foods they suggest that are under 12% fat. None of the brands listed are WSAVA compliant (Nulo, Natural Balance, Earthborn, Squarepet, etc.) I am curious of what foods you use.
Thank you in advance.

For context: I have two Shiba Inus who are needing to lose a few pounds. I understand feeding less is also an option. Right now I am feeding partially Carna4 and partially Nulo Weight management to lower the fat content a bit. So I am looking to find a consistent food to feed.
