any info would be great!

Hello, this is my great-grandmother’s necklace I inherited when she passed. It’s one of my most cherished possessions because of our bond and I wear it every Valentine’s for her birthday. I didn’t think the stone would be a diamond because it’s pretty big and it was given to me when I was 9 (we were close, I went to her house everyday)—but when I would see a post from this sub it would always inform how the setting of a stone can be a telltale sign of just how precious it really is. I polished it to look for marks but the only one I see is the 14k stamped on the end. I know it’s solid gold but I would love to know any info on the maker and stone. It will always be priceless to me but just curious. Ive been imagining her picking out jewelry and falling inlove with this piece. TIA
