Chance of cleveland/ M Sinai elective

I applied for spring as soon as the portal opened
Within 20mins
No publications, no connections
Have B visa
passed step1
TOEFL118 with 4month USCE (including one elective)
Applied for endocrinology and infectious disease
So nervous, 800bucks🥹 the result released will be late, should I also apply for something else for those months as back up plan?

I also applied for M Sinai CCU and ped infectious

Should I just wait or also apply others? I don’t want to spend too much application fee but i with I can fill the spring with more electives.

Thanks for advice!

emory elective tips help

Hi I’m going to do my first elective in transplant medicine.
It’s said it’s 2weeks for liver and 2weeks for kidney. And half outpatient half inpatient.

So it seems like the time to stick to one attending is very limited. Should I ask to stay in one specialty? Is it feasible?

And anything special to do in the Emory school or fun things to explore nearby? And any additional opportunities in Emory?

Thank you for guys sharing!
