Queer spaces in/near the Adirondacks?
Will be living in a town in the Adirondacks for a few months to help partake my partners grandmother and to get an escape from my current red state hell fest I currently live in. The main pro for living in the state I live in, however, is that queer spaces are fairly easy to find and join since we have to be loud and proud as a defense against how we are mistreated. Anyways, my fear is that although I’ll feel safer in New York State, I worry my social life will be reduced to nothing if there aren’t queer spaces/communities to bond with. Anyone know specific towns with a more prevalent queer lifestyle/gay bars/queer meet ups?
TLDR: Anyone know queer spaces/openly queer communities in the Adirondacks?
Edit: I will say I visited the town I’ll be staying in during June and most shops/restaurants had Pride flags, but I figured that was just for the month.
