Do what I just did and go back and rewatch all of the tour diaries completely through beginning to end (so far). The electric, rabid passion pouring out of so many people from so many places all over the globe…it is exhilarating, and it is undeniable. The love and excitement from this foundation will be what their empire is built upon, and it’s the most solid foundation they could possibly have.
I had never been part of a fandom before. I was aware of One Direction when they happened, but didn’t really pay too close attention. I imagine it must have been something similar to this. Nowhere else have I ever experienced such devotion, excitement, and outpouring of love for a band. Watching these tour diaries again all in one go really did something for my soul just now 😂🫶
Does anyone else feel like when you were a kid, and it’s the night before your first day of school, excited but nervous, a little antsy? When I saw that it’s going to be on the main stage I got such a rush of adrenaline. So many new first impressions to be made! So many potential new fans to be made!!
