If you were able to add a business to the island tomorrow, what would it be? Is there any service or storefront that is desperately needed?
I recently left a FAANG corporate job in Seattle and moved out to Whidbey to live a more intentional life. Instead of jumping on a remote role, I’m really hoping to work in the community, but am having a hard time finding anything. I’ve worked in everything from logistics to aerospace, running project/ program management and Continuous Improvement, as well as supporting local landscaping/ small home maintenance projects and consulting on Reef tanks (a hobby I now obsess over LOL) Basically what I’m getting at is that I don’t need a super specific job title, I’m more-so looking for a company that cares about its people and the community (being outdoors is definitely a huge plus)
Any recommendations for local businesses that are hiring or job boards that locals use? (other than indeed/ linkedIn)

Just moved out to Whidbey a few weeks ago and am still getting used to the ferry. Planning to head over to Mukilteo this evening as a walk-on but not sure where to park for a few hours until I get back. Is the lot next to the booths ok? Any preferred parking areas for <24hrs
New to gravel cycling and hoping for some recommendations in Washington state. I’m on Whidbey island but planning to travel around the state to check it out!
