Is the X-Maxx Broken?

I feel like it over-steers WAY too easily. After the 2nd / 3rd summit race it looks nice but it kind of sucks?

It's like learning a whole new way to steer / maneuver - and the cars are so slippery / fragile. It took me about an hour to get >100k in the first summit race haha. Glad the whole month isn't RC cars in the summit :D

I lost my best friend June 30th 2025 after 14 years together - my wife/kids really wanted another dog, so we got a 1 year old lab in late August.

He's a great family dog, we trained him really well, and he's like my shadow now - but some random times I still see an old picture or get an old memory and I miss my old guy SO much. Sometimes I cry, sometimes I just start looking at old pictures / videos.

Is there anything that will help with this? I feel bad feeling this way, I feel like my new dog knows and always comes over and plops on my feet when I feel like this.

I thought that 11 months in after his death things would be easier, but feelings keep creeping up on me.

I depend on random groups of people to help with slipstream for certain summit events (friends don't play this game). Why is it so hard to find people to pair up with? Any other multiplayer game you can pick what you want to do, then send an invite to people who are in your session.

Instead I feel like I'm begging people on discord, and half the time no one even responds like it's a ghost town there.

I appreciate the looking for crew option, but it's so generic so you have to hope the people you pair up with (if you do at all) will want to do the same thing you do.

If it's this hard to find people to play with, maybe you should just remove slipsteam benefits from the summit altogether.

He’s just been sitting here for the whole time - not scared of me or my 70lb lab - should I just leave him alone and hope he doesn’t fall?

Update: put in a shoe box, seemed like he had some strength when picking up - wildlife control picked him up already! Thanks everyone.
