Pitch bending? Ya/no?

What is the simplest way to add 2 things to my live set up: String and bass patches. Echo and reverb.

Best backing tracks ?

I don’t know how much longer I can hang with EWI 5000. My percentage rate for playing / executing clean notes and passages is about 2 out 10. No bare feet. Lotion on hands. Blah blah. I don’t understand. Is the aerophone any better? I have had wx7. I have had Lyricon. This thing is awful.
