The company that I work in had a birthday celebration of an employee. The cake arrived by morning and by the time we cut the cake it was by 3 pm and unfortunately the cake had melted considerably.

The COO walked in for birthday celebrations and after seeing the cake, he questioned if the cake was kept next to that employee cause she’s hot. I find it particularly inappropriate, unethical and unprofessional. He’s the boss who is much older than her and not a friend of that employee. Should this be addressed/escalated. Could this be a POSH issue?
