I bought this snake plant from a local store and I would like to ask for advice on how to keep it as healthy as possible and maybe some informations about its growth or just some general tips. Of course, I read some guides on the internet but it feels like it's too much information about types of soil, not overwatering it and so on.

I never had plants so I would like to benefit from your experiences also.

Does this one look OK? What's that little chop at the bottom?

When does it need repotting?

Not really an issue cause other sources are playing, I'm just curious about this message I got. I paused an episode and opened it after a few hours and I got this. It's the first time I saw it. Is this a thing now?
