Won’t eat
I’m a first-time Pac-Man frog owner. I got my frog 17 days ago, and he’s only eaten twice since I got him. The first time, he ate a mealworm and a hornworm. Since then, I’ve tried dubia roaches with no luck. I tried another hornworm too, but he still won’t eat.
He just turns his head away and burrows back down. From what I understand, froglets are supposed to eat pretty much every day, so I’m getting worried since he hasn’t eaten in almost two weeks.
His temperature is controlled, with a warm side and a cooler/shady side. I’m also keeping the humidity and substrate moist, but not soggy.
Is this normal for a young Pac-Man frog, or should I be concerned?
He gets his water dirty so quickly. I changed 5 minutes before this photo and he quickly got it dirty again.
