is coffee pretty abundant in the mornings on the Frances? Is getting coffee upon leaving a town out of the question because it's so early? what's the vibe? I am heavily dependent upon black coffee and walking in October....

1. do I really need to buy special wool or synthetic shirts for the Camino? Can I just wear normal t-shirts?
2. do I really need to wear sandals in the shower? I don't want to bring 3 pairs of shoes and don't want to wear my Tevas in the shower because then they'll stay wet?
3. how much do we really love trekking poles?
4. Can you reply with what your clothing/shoe packing situation looked like? Women especially.
