Any ideas why the city rejected the high-rise proposed for this site? The LSJ said it was over a parking issue, but didn’t elaborate. I know it was the city that said they want the non-city owned portion of the lot redeveloped. Is this spite because they just signed a one-year lease for the parking spaces? Or was there a substantive objection to the proposal?
