I bought a phone plus year plan a little over a year ago. The plan has been inactive for a few months.

I bought another kit of phone and plan but I want to activate this new plan on the old phone

What is the right way to do this.

1. I do not care if the number remains the same (I don't even know if the old number is still available after all this time).

2. I don't care about the new phone being unlockable now. If there is a way to do it now or later, great, but not priority.
