Vertigo and Parkinson’s

Hi! Trying to gather some info - my dad has struggled with vertigo-like symptoms for years. Primarily debilitating dizziness where the entire world just spins. Despite countless doctor visits to ENT specialists, audiology, vestibular PT, etc., we can’t seem to get him relief. Doctors have not been able to find the source or the trigger for these symptoms. He has thus far just lived with the symptoms and done his best to power through them (which is so dangerous given he is a carpenter and always up on ladders, using power tools etc.)

His mom suffered from Parkinson’s disease and this last weekend I saw his hands shaking while we were hanging some doors. Could be anything but led me to do some reading and I learned that early Parkinson’s symptoms can include vertigo-like symptoms like dizziness and lack of balance. We are working to get a referral to a neurologist but for the time being I’m wondering if there are any herbs I could get for him that might help manage the symptoms. I read Ginkgo biloba may help but I’m open to any suggestions that I can research further.

He has high blood pressure which doctors are aware of/monitoring (no medication yet) but is otherwise healthy.

If you made it this far thanks for reading. Appreciate any help.
