Okay, so I'm planning on moving most of my cash from a traditional bank account into the Fidelity CMA for the returns on SPAXX instead of just letting it sit there doing nothing.

It seems like a great idea but the one thing I can't find an answer for is how it works outside of market trading hours. The way I understand it is that it auto-sells SPAXX shares when you use the debit card or pay a bill, etc. but if it's selling those shares then isn't that technically not supposed to work if the market's closed?

Any explanation as to how this actually works would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
